Good Morning you beautiful Mamas you!
It’s that time of the month again! No not “that” time, it’s Mama Madness time! The one time a month I take a few moments to rant, rave, complain and whine about being a mom.
Because if were all honest being a parent can be maddening sometimes!
We all love our kids and think they are so adorable and perfect, yada yada blah blah BUT…
WHY DO THOSE LITTLE RASCALS HAVE SO MUCH SHIT?!
AND WHY DO WE KEEP BUYING THEM MORE?!
It’s not like our tiny little humans actually need so many clothes, and toys and just stuff, but it’s like one day, as you’re looking at ALL OF IT spread out on the floor you start to wonder
“Why do they have all this stuff? And where the heck did it even come from?”
Some days I feel like I’m swimming in a sea of Legos, Train Tracks and every single mini Monster Truck ever made. And I’ve pretty much given up on trying to decorate the way I really want because everything just becomes an obstacle or race track and inevitably gets broken, so what’s the point anyway? I’ll just wait till the kids get older.
Oh and speaking of the kids getting older. Harper is going to be wanting Barbies (with little tiny shoes and little tiny clothes) and little pieces of costume jewelry and all sorts of stuff thats going to get everywhere as well…
But what do you do? Deny your kids toys because you like a neat and tidy home?
Psh no.
You suck it up.
Buy them all the toys.
Then spend the rest of your life stepping on them!
