Hey Yall! Today I’ll be throwing the Spotlight on my new “Capsule Wardrobe” and showing you how to wear one Wrap Dress Three Ways!
So you know that recently we moved, and while I was packing I made it a point to really go through EVERY SINGLE THING we own and decide if it was really worth keeping or not. It felt SO GOOD to get rid of the clutter and junk that we have been toting around with us for years. And one thing that REALLY needed a good clean out was my closet. I’m hoping to detail my process a bit more soon but for now just know it took a REALLY long time! But I felt so great afterwards knowing not only that what was left made me feel beautiful but was comfortable and fit well too.
On that note I wanted to start highlighting one of the items that survived my ruthless closet clean out each week to show ya’ll that STYLING is more fundamental to great fashion than simply owning lots of clothes!
Look 1: To the Market
I wore this wrap dress to the market this past Saturday morning, it was so warm and sunny out and I couldn’t have chosen a better outfit for that day!
how i styled it: I added a chambray button up and tied it to add summery vibes, along with a straw hat and faux burks.
Look 2 : Date Night
how i styled it: In order to add just a little sex appeal I went with a lacy, cross strapped bra that peaks out ever so slightly, pulled the top half of my hair back in a “I woke up like this” kinda way and put on my tallest platforms.
Look 3: Sneakers & Sass
I am a SUCKER for a dress and tennis shoes, something about the combo of sweet and sassy just attracts me to this mash up over and over again.
how i styled it: This outfit was probably the easiest to put together, I just pulled my hair up, grabbed some cool shades and laced up my sneakers. Then added a few bangles, a vintage cuff and of course some bubble gum pink lip color.
Look 4: Island Stylin’
Finally getting to enjoy some warmer weather has my style eye wanting to wear all the bright, flowing, and tropical things, and I tried to give this monochromatic dress some of those vibes to show y’all that with styling you can turn something dark into something fun!
how i styled it: I went for a mix of patterns by pairing this striped wrap dress with spotted espadrilles sandals. Then I left the top button open on my dress and added a blush pinky/peach brallete under for a lil “sum-sum” and topped it off with an outrageous necklace and the brightest lipstick I own!
I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope it gives you some awesome inspiration to style your own wrap dress in ways you wouldn’t have before and that it shows you style with a Capsule Wardrobe is still possible!
And don’t forget to use the “Pin It” button that comes up when you hover each photo to save your favorite looks for later!

Gotta love a dress you can wear in many ways. I love using bralletes to spice up a top without showing too much skin.
