Hi Y’all! Today I’m sharing this Quick and Easy DIY Flower Crown!
I needed to make Harper one for a photo that I wanted to take and decided that I’d share how I make mine!
When I first started blogging I did a ton of DIY’s – I sorta stopped blogging about them because honestly, having to stop after each step and take photos, and make sure the photos turned out right just took the fun out of crafting and DIY-ing for me. But lately I’ve caught the DIY bug again and since this is only a few steps and so easy to make I wanted to share it with y’all!
You’ll Need:
-Fresh Flowers & Foliage
-Twist Ties
-Green Permanent Marker
-Scissors
Step 1 (below) : Color your twist ties with your green marker, this makes them harder to see once the crown is on.
Step 2 (below): Choosing the flower that you want in the center of the forehead gently form the stem into a circle. Your stem might fold/bend/break like mine did. It didn’t break all the way so I just wrapped a twist tie around it. (Which I later colored green.)
Step 3 (below) : Then start filling in the places you want with more flowers. Get the flowers secured first. You can trim any extra stems after you get the flowers placed and secure.
Step 4 (below) : Now use the foliage to fill in the spaces. I secure one end and then twist the foliage around either tucking the other end to secure it or also using a twist tie. Make sure all the “empty” spaces are filled and try to make sure none of your twist ties can be seen. AND THAT’S IT!
How cute is this little Unicorn Lamp from She’s the Fun Mom?! Harper is obsessed with it and LOVES turning it one each night before she goes to bed.
I hope now you can make all the boho baby flower crowns that your heart desires!
