Y’all know I’m already a fan of Femme Luxe Finery from my last post, but I have to say – I had WAY more fun styling my clothes from them this time! I was just totally feeling EVERYTHING I got 100%! I went for styles I knew I could style with inspo from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s & 80’s and they did NOT disappoint!
The 1950’s
Forget the poodle skirt and Mary Janes – I’m styling the 50’s in this skin tight Pink Square Neck Strappy Midi Dress, some great heels, a head scarf and sunnies! I did keep with the midi length style dress and the square neckline that was typical of 1950’s style dresses though, so it still counts! Right?!
The 1960’s
Alright y’all so I know this one is leaning towards the 70’s maybe a little more so than the 60’s but hear me out – Co Ords were REALLY poppin’ in the 60’s – so that’s why this snazzy little number is falling under that decade! While this Cream Slinky Front Tie Two Piece Set is slightly see through it is still SO stylish AND comfortable! Femme Luxe Finery has this Co Ord in Black as well, so if you’re really loving the look, I’d just suggest getting that color instead!
The 1970’s
The 70’s always make me think of a time when women started showing off what their mama’s gave them, bell bottoms and of course, the disco. I wanted to create a look that if I was to suddenly time travel back to the 70’s I could wear but not look like I was wearing a costume if I were to wear it today! And as soon as I saw this Blue Open Back Split Leg Maxi Dress I KNEW I’d found it! This dress will be on repeat all Spring and Summer!
The 1980’s
To me the 80’s mean hair bands and Rock ‘n’ Roll. Mötly Crüe, Def Leppard, AC/DC and Pink Floyd So when I saw this Snake Crop Denim Jacket I KNEW what had to be done. A totally Rock ‘n’ Roll, half naked photo sesh! This jacket is seriously the PERFECT summer layering item!
