I’m back with another haul from Femme Luxe Finery! I hope you like what I selected this time around and I hope that these looks I put together bring you some total outfitinspo!
If you didn’t know I’m a HUGE believer in budget friendly style. I love fashion, but I just don’t have the disposable income to be dropping $50 on one shirt or $225 on one dress yah know? Affordability is just one of the reasons I always look on Femme Luxe Finery when I’m in need of some new pieces!
I’ve done a few other Femme Luxe reviews & style posts before (here, and here) but I wanted to start doing them from a different… perspective. Since I work with them so often, and often get asked questions about the feel of the fabric, the fit and the quality of the clothes, I figured why not start giving yall more of a review, than just some cute outfits to look at! I mean, I know I can’t be the only one who reads tons of reviews before purchasing right?!
So here we go!
love yaself tee
I have a “thing” with tee shirts. I’m always buying them, and never wearing them. I always think “oh I’ll wear it with these jeans, or this skirt” and then in the end I just don’t and end up wearing cute tee shirts around my house instead. So, you know when I saw a tee that said “love yaself” I of course, had to have it. Shop FLF Tee Shirts Here.
pros: Turns out this tee shirt is the perfect amount of loose/baggy that you can french tuck (which Tan from Queer Eye says is still in style! So don’t @ me) , tie into a crop top, regular tuck in with a nice little hangover or just wear normally – making the styling options basically endless. It is also SO FLIPPING SOFT. Seriously, you’ll feel like you’re wearing pj’s all day in this tee.
cons: I wish the words were slightly lower, so they stretched over my chest better and were easier to read.
dark wash, high waist jeans
I probably own way too many pairs of jeans as it is, but I go through phases where I really love a pair, and then suddenly I hate them so that’s probably why. I also have two other Femme Luxe Finery jeans and I’m obsessed with them so I figured, if it ain’t broke – don’t fix it, and get another pair since I’ve had good luck in the past! Shop Femme Luxe Denim Here.
pros: These are ACTUALLY high waisted jeans. I hate when I get “high waisted” bottoms and they don’t even hit my belly button. They have a nice bit of stretch but don’t feel or look “jeggingish” – which nobody wants. They have real pockets. Which might sound weird to count as a pro – but if you’ve ever ordered a pair of pants online, only to realize when you get them that they have FAKE pockets, you know the frustration. Not gonna lie, my butt looks amazing in these and let’s be real, that’s what jeans are for right? haha!
cons: I don’t haaaaaate the wash of these, BUT they are a little more “fake” blue than what I would typically go for. But that’s honestly my only con for these!
mesh two layer bodysuit
I have a love/hate relationship with bodysuits, but this one was too perfect to pass up! I’ve been keeping my eyes open for some great pieces to wear on dates, as well as to keep in my closet for nicer events and such and this was perfect for that! Shop Femme Luxe Bodysuits Here.
pros: My biggest issue with bodysuits is that 9/10 that I try on and even own give me a MAJOR panty line situation, being more pear shaped I’m almost a full size up on the bottom, than the top – but! this one DOES NOT do that! This really does look gorgeous on – the small little polkadots add a fun but classy touch, and the looseness of the top layer over the solid white layer is romantic and soft all at the same time.
cons: For my body, the waistline on this hits at kind of an awkward spot, some of my high waisted jeans line up with it, others don’t. Which limits what bottoms I can wear. It is also still slightly see-through, even though it’s double layered.
one shoulder ruffle dress
I love dresses – they are the ultimate outfit, not matter the occasion and can be the most versatile piece in your closet if you get the right one. So I’m always on the hunt for dresses that ARE “the look” and require basically no effort in styling. Which is why I selected this one! Shop Femme Luxe Dresses Here.
pros: This dress looked great with every single pair of shoes I tried with it, which was 6 different pairs. (Seriously, it looked good with sandals, strappy heels, sneakers, ankle boots, and flats.)But my favorite was how it looked with my thigh high boots. The elastic at the top is tight enough that I didn’t have to keep pulling up the side with no sleeve, but not uncomfortable. It also looks great with a moto-jacket!
cons: This one is on me, but I should have sized up – the dress fit well on top, but I was hoping for a more flowy look on the bottom that I most likely would have gotten had I gone up a size. The belt loops (it comes with a tie) are like right under the breast and I’m just not into that empire waist thing anymore. So I cut the loops off.

I would have liked to see them all worn outfits to understand how they make, but nice ideas anyway!

Polka dots are always my top pick and I have few of them but I still have my eyes on them. However, those jeans are also my favorite as they fit in every season.

I love the black and white theme for sure. Where do you live though? I ask because we are getting ready for colder weather so I wouldn’t quite be buying shorts just yet! 🙂
