Hey there! I hope everyone is doing well!
We’ve been enjoying some Summer fun with some of our family in town. And we’ve been drinking a LOT of coffee, and wine. But we’re gonna talk about coffee today! And y’all know how much I LOVE coffee! I post about it almost daily on my Instagram Stories!
When the weather warms up, Cold Brew Coffee is EVERYWHERE!
The commercials, adds and descriptions make it seem sooooooo fancy, sooooooo intense, and sooooooo regal. Well guess what?
It is.
BUT that doesn’t mean that you can’t make it yourself! It’s actually pretty simple! Today I’m going to teach you TWO ways to make Cold Brew at home.
First though, lets discuss the differences between Cold Brew and Regular Coffee.
So, how easy is Cold Brew Coffee to make? VERY!
french press cold brew
To make Cold Brew in your French Press all you need to do is pour the grounds into the bottom like you normally would, and then instead of pouring hot water over the grounds, you just fill your press with room temperature water, cover it and let it sit for about 12 hours either on the counter or in the fridge.

You Will Need:
3/4 Cup Coffee Grounds
4 Cups Room Temperature Water
Coffee Filters (I used 6)
Air Tight Container (Big enough to hold your 4 cups of water)
Strainer
Bowl
Step 1: Pour your Coffee Grounds into your bowl.
Step 2: Pour your water over the grounds and stir until all grounds are wet.
Step 3: Put the lid on your container and let your coffee sit at room temperature or in the fridge for 12 to 20 hours.
Step 4: Place one coffee filter into a strainer, place the strainer on top of a bowl.
Step 5: Pour coffee through your filter. You will probably need to change the filter a few times. Once all your coffee is filtered repeat this process with fresh filters. I did this a total of three times.
Step 6: Pour over ice, add whatever you want (milk, cream, sugar, syrup, etc.)
Step 7: Put any leftovers into an air tight container and pop in the fridge.
It’s seriously THAT easy guys!
