Hey Y’all! It has been QUITE a while since I’ve hopped on here to write a blog – let me tell you, my life has been nothing short of INSANE the last few months and some things have just gotta give ya know?
One thing that I’ve been trying so hard not to give up though – is my fitness routine. I have had to switch it up lately, seeing as in a matter of days I went from a Stay at Home Blogging Mama to a Full Time Working + Blogging Mama! The one thing that’s helped me stay consistent in my Health and Wellness journey is Ladder – a Personal Training App that helps you workout from anywhere!
the app
Ladder is an app that you simply download to your phone or other device, so you can take it anywhere! When you first download Ladder, the app walks you through a few questions in order to match you with the Personal Trainer that is PERFECT for YOU! That’s right y’all I said PERSONAL TRAINER! Ladder isn’t a one size fits all fitness app with pre-loaded workouts on it – you are matched with a health and wellness professional that is just what you need and who will help you work towards your fitness goals. Whether it’s weight loss, weight gain, muscle “gainz” or just wanting to feel better on the daily, there is a trainer on Ladder just for you!
the workouts
My goal on Ladder is to “Feel Better.” You guys are probably like “What? You’re always posting about working out etc.” BUT lately I’ve been so stressed and honestly frazzled that truly my main health and wellness goal right now is just to feel better than I have been on a daily basis. During initial sign up you can select if you’d rather workout in a gym or at home, and y’all already know I selected home workouts! So far the workouts have been great! Not overly difficult and I don’t feel exhausted or overly sore afterwards, which are MUST HAVES for Feeling Better. The first few have been no-equipment based, but I’m working with my trainer, Kerri, right now to come up with some great workouts utilizing the equipment I do have at home.
the benefits
And before I head to go do my workout for the day using Ladder I want to quickly share some of the benefits when choosing Ladder over a more traditional trainer/trainee relationship :
Affordability: Ladder is an affordable personal training option, instead of forking over upwards of $100 dollars for a gym membership + trainers fees Ladder will run you half that at a cool $50 monthly.
Accessibility: Since Ladder goes with you wherever you have your smart devices it’s accessible to you at home, at the gym, on vacation and more!
Comfort Level: I know a huge part of why people don’t head to the gym more is because they don’t feel comfortable or welcome in some gyms, while others feel right at home in their neighborhood gym – and Ladder is perfect for BOTH. Upon initial set up of the app you can select your personal preferences on if you’d rather stay home, or head to the gym!
If you have ANY questions about Ladder or my experience using it PLEASE don’t hesitate to reach out to me! I absolutely LOVE this new health and fitness resource. The flexibility of being able to workout anywhere I want, whenever I want with the expertise of a trainer is seriously AMAZING y’all! Click HERE to Download the App!
