As our kids have gotten older they have become harder to shop for, the older two are 9 and 6 so we can’t just stroll down the toy isle or through the clothes section and buy them stuff with their favorite characters on it anymore. This year we put extra thought and care into what we picked out for the kids with a few goals in mind :
Quality over Quantity
Lots of Use : Items the kids will use daily, or almost daily.
No “filler items” that will just get thrown away in a few months.
Without further ado here’s what we got!
Sensory Swings – One for Each
A New “Big Girl” Bike for Harper
A Hoverboard for Thomas
Switch Games – One for Each Kid
An Amiibo
We also got the kids some Experiences! These are things that we will be taking the kids to do that are a bit more pricey than we would typically spend on like a regular day or weekend family fun day or things that they have been asking to do for a while that we have not been able to do yet for one reason or another! For these we will print out what we are doing and when, and then wrap those in boxes that we will let the kids open together!
I hope this helps if you are stuck on what to get your kiddos for Christmas!
